Mercadona’s logistic trends
Having my lunch today & watching news on television there was a video about mercadona logistics center .It was just hilarious how the distribution system works. Automation robots higher than 10meters working 24h in a enormous area. Whenever someone of us going to mercadona buying something the logistics center receive that message and knows already how many products missing for that store. The amazing was that only robots are in there doing that job. No ones lift weights and packages.
I’m trying hard to find that video so i can show you furthermore.

Introduction to Logistics
February in Valencia and we enrolled to the new course of Logistics.
I was wondering whats is all about. I`ve seen a lot of logistics centers around big cities (see Valencia,Barcelona,Athens) but first didn’t know many things. I used to work partially in a english fruit importation company where a lot of big trucks was leaving from Greece to England . Well that`s called supply chain. A company makes a product (in our case packages of fruits)and it delivers to another company. Then those products are sold to customers.
Everyone can definite in a different way the Logistics but always the main part is the same.
Logistics is the management of the flow of goods, products etc between the point of origin and its destination in order to meet the requirements of the customers. Wikipedia
